Is it too much humanisation? The thing is he's acting pretty much the same, just he has several principles that he follows and interacting with older characters kind of shows. You can definitely point out where he acts like normal Anima. I just hope as I develope him, he doesn't lose the eery urking feel that follows him. As for the theme, the thing is Anima is so hard to find music for, such as when different people have this different opinions on what they think accompanies him. I personally think that Anima would need a custom song, rather than a symphonic metal. I think "In Chains" Works because it links to The Wild West as much as it links to Anima. So if it links to the Wild West, I don't have to find a genre specific for him. To be honest although a song might fit perfect, genre wise. If I don't like the sound of it, or don't like listening to it. I would not use it. You could give me the best song with anima ever (assumingly not custom made, since that would be a specific feel and genre anyway) but if it grates on my ears, it would be unacceptable. Now I know that makes me sound like fussy guts, but you should understand, I wouldn't give him a grunge metal or a song screaming in to my ears, because that is just unpleasant to listen to, and listening to a Satanist chant from youtube isn't my favourite either, but it is better than Screaming Metal. This isn't a rant directed at anyone, rather at the available selection of music.
