  • Yeah, the limitations on the 3rd generation can be a problem unless the ROM is expanded and edited in hex to use more slots.

But I'd mainly focus on the 4th and 5th generation hacking, because I already know how to edit an image using Crystal Tile 2 on NDS ROMs. And besides that... I kinda find the hacking a little easier in a way because it stores the files in different folders. Unlike the GBA has everything scattered around in random places and would take time to find the certain data. As with NDS ROMs, you can just find it right away, and then open up the NARC (Nitro Archive file). It's no wonder it's called the "Developers System". xD

And it's alright, like I've said, I never really get nerved. lol
It would be quite interesting, and I could try it out too.

Also... if I was good at understanding what the hex values mean and knew how to create programs using Microsoft Visual Studio, then I could attempt to create a better music editor for the GBA games, because Sappy only works with the Pokémon games (or at least I think so). And prahaps create a weather editor for the 3rd generation, so it can edit the weather effects in how they display and all that and what sound is used for it. Like instead of having the volcanic ash to look as if it's snowing, could try to make it more like what it is in generation 4 and having the hail effect in battle.

It's too bad that I lack that information about knowing what the hex values mean and know how to create programs using Microsoft Visual Studio.
Dolphin Emulator only works on the newer computers with a decent graphics card. As for Okamiden having a problem with the lower screen becoming shrinked in height from below to the top part is a bug with the emulator itself, along with it's palette not changing on the lower screen when you use the celestial brush. It's also the same thing with Pokémon Black/White's EXP gain problem when skips it, the emulator (and the emulator on some flashcards) is unable to read the coding and ends up skipping it.

And yeah... it would be brillient. I'm not sure if I've played the Touhoumon and Moemon hacks yet.

And it's alright, I don't hardly get nerved anyways. I can understand what you're talking about. :)
I haven't finished the first one that has Amaterasu in it, I have been playing the first one on the Dolphin Emulator and I'm up to the part after I've defeated Orochi in the Moon Cave. I hope the sequel of Okamiden has the mix of both Okami and Okamiden, because that would make it much more fantastic. I've actually finished Okamiden on the DeSmuME Emulator, and it's rather sad at the end. Which would kinda remind you of the part in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Time/Darkness/Sky versions in the Hidden Land area.
Yeah, the money for the time in development... I'm sure The Pokémon Company had enough to fund GameFreak with renewing their Software Development Kits for the Nintendo DS with DSi functions, because they have tons from the game stores ordering their delivery to the game store, then the consumers buying them, then after a year or two... it becomes discontinued. As from what I've heard, The Pokémon Company had the Nintendo 3DS SDK before even the actual name was announced, it could be likely that the 6th generation could be well underway, hopefully this time they don't get rushed or anything like that, as there was obviously some source where a developer said that they had such a short development time with Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.

But I do think the Nintendo 3DS is much better, because the 3DS games don't have pixelated textures, and this would be because the 3DS is compatible of using alot more colours than what the limitations of the colours on the Nintendo DS. I've been researching the parallax barrier on the Nintendo 3DS, it could come in handy for other purposes such as having a larger parallax barrier on the screen of a laptop or monitor.

I've actually been playing Okamiden, and I'd have to say. Best Nintendo DS game in my opinion, because it has such a wonderful storyline and wonderful graphics that looked just like the first Okami game on the PS2 and Wii. I sure am hoping for a sequel to that game.
    Good thanks!
And it's quite interesting how another year has just gone by since you've been away. xD

And I kinda feel as if the development team of the new Pokémon games have been rushed, because I've noticed how short the game is, how small the region is, bad spriting with some old Pokémon and it's rather sad that they could not take their time in drawing out the new Pokémon and fix the problems. Just as I compare it to the rest of the games, it looks to me as if their development team have been rushed, especially when I've been researching the ROM of Pokémon Black. Anyways, once a map editor for the DS generations has been made, then we'll all be able to do alot more than what we could on the GBA, because the NDS files have folders in them with many different files.
I see. You're busy with life, huh?
Yeah, my hack's thread is locked at the moment, and I deleted my weebly site. For now, I have my freewebs site and a facebook fanpage of Ruby Destiny. Both links are on my signature.
The remake of Rescue Rangers? I haven't done any new progress to it since I am finishing Life of Guardians first. Hopefully, if I can still make some time, I'll remake Rescue Rangers.
Oh my god, Sky! Hey there! :D It's fine, you were probably busy. Truth be told, I'm never on here that much nowadays. :\
wow. one year of absence? how've you been doing? :)
and you don't need to apologize, though.
I am still working on Life of Guardians. Still not finished... xD
