Yeah, the limitations on the 3rd generation can be a problem unless the ROM is expanded and edited in hex to use more slots.
But I'd mainly focus on the 4th and 5th generation hacking, because I already know how to edit an image using Crystal Tile 2 on NDS ROMs. And besides that... I kinda find the hacking a little easier in a way because it stores the files in different folders. Unlike the GBA has everything scattered around in random places and would take time to find the certain data. As with NDS ROMs, you can just find it right away, and then open up the NARC (Nitro Archive file). It's no wonder it's called the "Developers System". xD
And it's alright, like I've said, I never really get nerved. lol
