  • Thanks haha.
And sorry for being away, I was on artificial breathing(idk the good name) for a while.
Well, I've been going to school as well so I'm not being lazy on that :P
    Don't worry 'bout me Rin.
I'm not shy on the net but a lot irl! Also I had 2 weeks to do an essay but I just did today as it was due tomorrow. :D
Well, our ball is simply a military ball, and all cadets who can afford a ticket are allowed to come. Both male and female cadets are allowed to bring in a date from outside the program, which I did last year.

We have a fundraiser each year to support the battalion picnic and the military ball, which this year was a cheesecake fundraiser. We made around $7,000 from it, too!

I have no idea what all those snap teams and ATs are. Could you explain them to me? At our school we have Color Guard, Armed/Unarmed Exhibition/Regulation drill, Raider Team (PT), Honor Guard (raising and lowering the flag), Sabre Team (adds flare to color guard performances), and Rifle Team. Right now our rifle team is undefeated, and we've held our title as state champions since the spring season last year.

Also, we have around 290 cadets, and we need 300 for a brigade. We have around 160 LET-1s, too. Of course, our school has around 1,800 students. :D
Wow, cool! That's so high up there! :D

I'm a lonely LET-2 PFC trying to shoot for supply sergeant. Our S-1 is not just a staff officer, but also Armed Exhibition drill team commander and Foxtrot company commander. Everyone thought he deserved to be our second major besides our XO, but unfortunately for him one of our AIs, CSM Smith, decided our S-3 (who holds no other positions) deserved it more. Everyone likes our S-1!

If you think Color Guard is big, you should see our Armed Regulation drill team, 'cause they have 30 by themselves while Armed Ex has about 20. Then there's Sabre Team which has about 15 cadets, and of course Unarmed Drill, which is so unpopular we literally have like five out of 12 cadets that show up for Exhibition practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Because of it's unpopularity, one of my friends from my bus stop, another LET-2 PFC, is commander of Unarmed Exhibition, and after the current commander (a LET-4 2LT) graduates, he'll have it all. Why? He was the only one from last year that knew the whole exhibition routine from memory after our old commander moved. Because of my photogenic memory, I'm shooting to memorize the whole routine and become his XO, since we're such good friends. ;D

Do you guys have blues, or are you still in greens? Are you guys in a transition? What special teams does your battalion offer? :<
