The gen 1 Pokemon were mostly bland (in your words) because it was the first generation. There was no other Pokemon to base them off of. I really think the gen 1 Pokemon were cool just because it’s the original. They are pretty boring if you think of it (Like seel being a literal seal) but now...

I actually like Spidops, but it was very different than Tarountula. I kept Tarountula on my team so I could evolve it and it turned out to be completely different than what I thought. But please, don’t get me started on the Nymble evolution.

I’d get rid of Incineroar because Litten had so much potential of having an amazing starter line but no, Pokémon decided to suddenly turn it bipedal (I’m not hating on all bipedal Pokémon) and it just looks so ugly

I disagree that mega evolutions were the worst gimmick. They had the best designs and made much more sense then why they made the gigantimax or terastelize gimmick. Pokemon has been running out of ideas once Sun and Moon came out

From Paldea, I really think the Pawmi evolution was unnecessary all it does is get a new type, stand up, and have more hair/fur. Most of the new bug type evolutions were disappointing, and I wish they had more three-stage evolutions because most of them are just an addition to previous...

My fav typings are water/ground I love them so much because they only have one weakness, grass Same goes with Steel/Bug but with the weakness of fire

I personally agree. Grass-fire would be a great combination to use in battle
