Assuming you need people to help you with the project, you'd probably want to go here. But that's in the case you are working on a ROM Hack.
While there was nothing wrong with your thread, ROM Hacks aren't exactly eligible for the Game Development section.

There really isn't a place for you to recruit spriters other than asking them directly as the Spriting section rules does not allow you to make a recruitment thread there.
