Bit of an oddball, weird humor and definitely missing a few screws, but I try to be friendly to everyone and hopefully it works.
Sometimes I get on a roll with a topic, and my speech patterns change to reflect how much I know on that topic... but, if you know more and happen to notice that I'm wrong about something, please point it out! I'd rather be corrected that go on spreading the wrong information! Other than that... I can be rather quiet, what some might call a 'lurker' (always present, not always posting/commenting), but I do like intellectual conversations as much as I like silly, random ones. It really just depends on my mood, if I've read a really good book, etc.
I will admit, I've never been one for forums, simply because I have a terrible memory and tend to forget I am even part of one. Other times, I was unlucky and joined ones where the community was rather vicious to and unforgiving of people who knew less on the topic they enjoyed. This site seems to be much better, so I hope to be able to get to know some of you and have some good times.

Animals! I love them all, I've had cats, dogs, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, rats... I've helped family friends care for their horses, snakes, a room full of a mix of all sorts of creepy crawling bugs and spiders and other such creatures (okay so I might not love those but my friend did so I helped anyways), goats (baby goats are precious but do not bend down because they will jump on your back), cows and tortoises. SO MANY ANIMALS!
Really, if it seems interesting and I have the means to try it, I will.
