Oh, yeah, I didn't even mention how much I hate permanent transfers. It didn't really bother me as much for 3rd to 4th gen Pal Park transfers because of the system change, but there really was no excuse this time around. :l I'd have to clone everything before I transfer just in case.

The whole new way of cross-gen trading is kind of discouraging, actually. Idk, it could be just me. I like the simplistic way of doing everything.

I don't understand why you can't either. Both generations are on the same system, so there is no problem there, and there are no in-game timeline conflicts either, at least to the extent of my knowledge. Gen II and IV take place during the same point in time, and Bill had created a time machine for trading in Gen II, so idk.
