Yeah, I'd consider Drew a rival. Tbh, I like almost all of the rivals in the Pokemon anime, except Cameron. He's from the Unova region, but, most of the rivals in that season weren't well written, anyway. <_<

My favorites are probably Alain & Gary, though. But Paul is the best written of them all.

Well, besides Gary, Alain & Gladion, there aren't that many interesting rivals that Ash had in the Pokemon anime, LMFAO.
