I did the same thing as what you're doing but I started 7 months ago. IMO seasons 2-5 were the worst of all the seasons so far and I'm up to DP. DP and AG are really well written and enjoyable to watch. However, the amount of fillers in Johto (seasons 3-5) made it almost unbearable for me to get...
I agree man, many of the background songs in the anime are really good, I listen to a lot of them whenever I go for a run
All of the Kimi no soba de (dawns theme) versions were so good
And many of the movie soundtracks were great
Aaron 1 - from the 8th movie
As long as I can hold my breath -...
growing an attachment to the companions only to have them fail and leave (for stupid reasons in a lot of cases) and not make a dent in the show in its whole, then be erased from everyone's minds is what annoys me the most. Ironically, the whole reason that the writers get rid of characters is...
sorry to revive an old thread, but I was just wondering what (and if so how many) episodes May and dawn come back for cameos in? cause they're probably my favourite two of the companions so far. I'm not a huge shipper but I just don't like the way that we watch Ash's companions grow and progress...
what if Pokemon could do what Naruto did with Naruto Shippuden, and then they'd have license to do more with Ash and the characters relationships and stuff. (Just an idea, you guys would probably have better knowledge than me of if it would ever happen but it would be cool)
New characters help the show in my opinion. We all get attached to certain characters, and we dislike some. It means that the developers are doing a good job. The show wouldn't go anywhere if they kept bringing back old faces. I'm sure that after Misty left and then Brock people thought that...
ok so I just watched the 4th movie and am I really supposed to believe that Professor Oak is the older Sam from the movie or is that seriously how non canon the movies are to the anime?
And yes, I do ask a lot of questions aha, only because I'm interested though
i love a lot of team rocket moments, their fourth wall breaks, sarcastic humour, roasting each other, and their amazingly terrible betrayals. I love James' character.
After watching almost 4 seasons of the anime, I still feel like Jessie, James and Meowth are great comic relief characters, and I actually think they're pretty funny. But the fact that they are constantly trying to get Pikachu, when it's obvious that there are better Pokemon out there is what...
I've noticed that the movies don't fit in heaps well with the normal anime as well (they fit in as well as they can though I suppose). And considering that the art style is much more improved in the movies, do the movies and anime have different teams working on them? (Apart from the cast of course)
also, I'm up to an episode in the 4th season where Ash and the rest are searching (I use that word loosely) for articuno. And it is actually an interesting episode, even without much battling or evolving or real progress in the story. It'd be cool if they could do more episodes around the better...
