Are there any additional dependencies this needs? I got an error about pkg-config being missing, and then libpng.pc after I installed that. I'd love to be able to use this, but I can't without knowing what's required to set it up.

I mean, a really determined hacker probably could make something like this, yeah. Not sure how you'd balance the difficulty curve of something like that, though, and it could easily get really fatiguing to actually play.

I personally don't really have any problems with the formula itself! I think it works just fine, and Pokémon, for me, has always kinda been about making that core journey your own by way of all the team-building possibilities and all the little side things you can potentially do along the way...
