also the plot is that future gintoki disapppears, world is changed and present day gintoki is transferred 5 years into future.

Becase it is the characters that make this movie so damn great.

That's the SUPER ♥♥♥♥ING AWESOME AMAZING second movie of Gintama. Gintoki disappears from the world, Kagura and shinpachi grow up a bit and run yorozuya seperately, sougo becomes rurouni kenshin v2.0 and aall other characters change. But honestly, even if it is a great movie even for a person new to the series, I wouldn't recommend watching it if you haven't seen till like episode 150 and know all characters.
