I'm glad you're liking even the initial episodes as much as you are lol. You'll soooooo love the later arcs (so far I've shown you two and you liked both :DDDD).

and you'll probably like it too haha. Explains why the guy can actually be the pet of a super powerful person like kagura. Also, Kagura's family shows up at ep 40-43 too. And then sadaharu arc. Then the infant arc (Gintoki fathers a kid????) and then the first serious arc of the story. Episode 40 and above it is all good stuff. :DDD

and ahaha, sadaharu is hilarious. I love the dog oh so much. You'll truly understand how precious he is if you see the latest series, Gintama' Enchousen. Srsly, I've never loved any dog in an anime more than this guy <3 An episode or two and you'll meet another hilarious character - Elizabeth. She/he's a duck-ish thingy lol.

Episode 45 is Sadahru's 'backstory'. You're right in thinking he isn't a normal dog haha.

And I prefer the name Bishamon or Bishamonten myself tbh. Vaisravana suits her but sounds weird as a username lmao
