I've actually made 2 games in rmxp, one with one map that comes with essentials and one with no maps at all, but still an indepth storyline.
Apparently it wasn't good enough for the mods.
They were both completed, too.
Superior darkness, the one with no maps is much better than the first game which has maps though.
If you want to play Superior Darkness, I can give you a link tomorrow.
After reading the old thread, there are 2 things I'd like to say.
1: I have improved in spelling 100 fold since righting that thread, even though I still suck at spelling.
2: The story line is actually good, and there isn't to much that I fill needs changing.
Some things do need changing, though.
I was anticipating the limits of the rom, and not the freedom of RMXP.
I don't know if I'll keep the whole hoenn part.
I do want there to be a battle in the intro though, but it would have to come before you enter your information.

I can't make maps because I'm blind, so before I continue with the game in RMXP, I need to find a mapper.
The name may change though since there's already a lot of Amethysts out there.

Actually, I think you'll find that using the Pokémon name, and using Pokémon, is illegal, regardless of what medium it is. Making profit from either hacks or games is illegal. Both are, but Nintendo are lax on it. But don't go making statements that aren't true.
