  • Indeed.

I've started having a hard time reading SS, but that may be because I've read it so much. ^^; Fifth grade is probably good, yeah. My sister's that age and just finished DH.
Oh, I adored the fifth one. Not too dark, amazingly clever, awesome characterization. Fantastic!
I'm not insulting you, I'm being very serious. I've been here waaaay longer than you have, I know the rules, believe me :) I just didn't really care.

But you reminded me I needed to make a theme so there we go, it's gone. Thanks for lookin' out for me, but I got it, bruh.
Well, I dunno. I always thought that if I could do either, I would rather grow up with them. Because we who did got the full experience of maturing with the Golden Trio and the other Hogwarts students. Not only in the story, but you may have noticed that Rowling's entire writing style changes as her audience does.

I feel like it's hard to find an age for new readers to start. If they read all of the books within a year, they have to be young enough for Sorcerer's Stone and mature enough for Deathly Hallows at the same time. It's rather confuddling.
Oh it was indeed. Years it was, between books. And in the meantime I just re-read the ones I had.
I read the lot at least 20 time each. Waiting for book five was absolutely horrid. I grew up reading it, you see, so I had to wait every time. D:<
Mm, there are a few good ones if you sift through the madness. I generally read Harry Potter fics though, for the variety.
Fanfiction is entertaining when done right, just like fanart. I just prefer the literary side of the spectrum.
