That is the exact number of steps you need to have walked and the stepcount number resets to 0 at midnight. So if you walk 10k+ steps in one day, you can find it, but the second it hits midnight you need to rework back up 10k+ steps all over again. No, surfing and flying are in the same...

You could try Mora Win, on the left hand side they have a top song ranking list that is updated pretty frequently. (below that being album rankings). Clicking on any of the icons/album art will bring up the details of them, but the entire website is in Japanese, so it may or may not be helpful...

hmm.. I've been to the ones in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo... I always like going there, but rarely ever buy anything XD It's always fun to just look at everything they are selling :3 The most I've gotten is a Piplup/Pachirisu cover protector for my DSLite from the Nagoya one and a Pokewalker...
