  • No series is perfect, especially since we all have our own preferences.

Is there anything you have on your wishlist for the series? This can be anything involving any aspect of the franchise, regardless of how likely you think it is. Let us know!

Yeah, getting this out the way: Please, please, please settle the performance issues in the next gen. It's not much asking for steady frames if paying full retail value for a game. I get having drops in certain places and that's totally understandable.

As for the games, more to do in the towns would be nice. I'd at-least like to enter buildings again and chat with the NPCs.

  • I want to see triple battles come back. They seem like they could be really fun to do now that they're finally doing more (although not as much as I'd like) with doubles. Going to battle with a full team of three sounds super fun. (and I don't just mean a single psyducking gimmick trainer in a backwater corner of the map, or a gimmicky psyducking Gym battle being the only application of it either, I'm just really sick of 1v1s)

Wants to see them change up the formula a little more. Refers to the main games and spinoffs. Do not get mired in sequels and remakes. May not always care for the result, admittedly.

Wishes for more polish too. Do more than the bare minimum (for a full value game, anyways). Stuffed all of Kanto into the Johto games back in the day. Imagine finishing Scarlet/Violet, then going into a full Sinnoh region four years after Diamond/Pearl (if a little barebones). Could stay in Paldea and take you to level 100 with some kind of (non-raid) content too. Maybe build a town. Maybe protect the region from natural disasters. Perhaps expand on Champion title defense.

  • Non-story related side things to do. Once you're done with the story in SV and it's DLC's there's just nothing to do aside from raids and a pretty bland minigame that can't even be completed in solo on 2 of it's 3 difficulties. And raids got boring really fast.
I only complete the PokeDex once and then just use home to register them again on subsequent playthroughs, so like the 'story', that's a one time thing as well.

Would also like to see the game move to being more of an actual RPG, with a rich lore filled world with lots of quests and things to do, and move away more from the 'bland battle spam catch-a-thon with barely a half-decent story' thing they've been doing for a really long time now.
