Alright, let's see here. First of all, I liked the previous map better. I'm not quite sure why, though. Anyways, onto the map. One thing that immediately caught my eye was the abundance of rocks. There are way too many in my opinion. However, I do like how you used those four tile rocks (made of mountain tiles). A lot of people don't know about that little trick. Anyways, you could probably use more of those to fill the space the small rocks used to take up (if you remove them). The southeast corner of the map is way to empty. You could probably add a few more levels to the mountain in the southwest corner. Although the player won't see that area so it's not that important. The grass placement is pretty good (especially at the top of the map) but there are some places you should make look a little more natural by randomly placing normal grass tiles inside the grass. There's way to much grass on that little peninsula-type thing in the northeast part of the map. Also in the northeast corner, I think it would look better if the ground around that crater with the rock in it was mountain ground, not grass. But that's more of a personal preference. Some of the mini-hills you make are oddly shaped. Also, I don't really like what you've done with the ledges. Hm, I wonder what those brown semicircles could be. I guess I'll just have to wait until Apocalypse comes out. Hm, what else. I like the shape of the mountains; they're curved very well. I think a few more scattered trees would look really nice, especially if you mixed in a few small trees (which I see none of (maybe they can't survive in high altitude)). You could also add more flowers although if you're aiming for a more rough mountain kind of look, then I would avoid using any more than you already have. And another personal preference: you should put another sign at the northern exit of the map.
Alright I think that should be enough. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
P.S. It's nice to see some else who likes Don Hertzfeldt :)
