Ok, I needed to know because I put Rpg Maker Xp on the computer and I was trying to figure out how to pull up the mapmaking program on it and then I questioned its need. I've seen RMXP mapping done on Youtube, and to be honest, it looks like something that won't be very hard for me.EDIT- For some reason all my RMXP wants to do is install, reinstall, repair, and repeat. It's retarted. Maybe if I put Essentials in the RMXP folder, it'll see it as an OS( It keeps sayong wrong OS or OS version for some of the applications)

I'm just asking you because it takes a million years for someone on the Essentials thread to resond, but is RPG Maker XP required to make the maps? (I asked someone else and I got no response)

I don't mind the critique, but I'm just wondering why everybody shifted from liking to hating them, that's all. I was merely confused, that's all.

Edit: In other words, numerous viewers were praising my work in succession, and then shifting to numerous viewers harshly critiquing my work.
