What about Nerfusa? It sounds a bit better to me, it shouldn't run over the limit for characters, and it combines the two root ideas (nerve/fusion)

It might not sound as bad if I was more fluent in the language which it takes parts of the names from (example, a lot of names are derived from a combination or alteration of one or two words), so I may consider it if I knew the origins.
