No no! I think you have the wrong idea with our time skip. We're, of course, going to tie up everything and resolve all the loose ends before time-skipping, because there's no way in heck I'm moving forward without resolving my business with Piper, and once that's done, pretty much everything else should be finished beforehand. SO, it shouldn't be too confusing, even though the whole thing is already really out-of-hand, since it's just me and David and there are weird unspoken understandings between us that make it 'wtf' for people reading it. (Sorry, has reading our posts been a pain in the butt? xD)
And by the first few paragraphs, I think you're thinking that we'll be doing this huge timeskip during act III, which is not what's happening at all. We're going to end Act III, resolve all the extra crap we've got, and then, the beginning of Act IV will be the beginning of the big time-skip. xD; Does that make more sense..?
As for falling behind on the reading, no problem. Actually, major kudo's for actually being able to sit around and read our boring RP posts. xDD; I would never do it, especially with this ridiculous arc we're doing. Me and David have kind of lost the care, since it's just the two of us, I kind of have a 'Well, nobody here cares, why bother put in the extra effort?' kind of attitude. I should probably get rid of it. :B
Oh, gosh, I haven't had a Stu/Sue impression at all! I don't think our cast has actually directly won anything. With the apostles, it was Tealian soldiers who got in the way, and then our original baddie, Aertan got taken away from the dark side for the most retarded reason, (actually he wasn't supposed to be a baddie in the first place, so… I guess we kind of half-assed the reason, but hey.)
Hahaha, yeah, huge cast, I know. xD; It'll really depend. I'll probably try to size-down my characters a little, but it's kind of like BLEACH's system. Some characters… pretty much never show up. :x But, since I kind of agree with you, I already have a plan for keeping my own cast at a minimum. I don't know about David though, you'll have to bring that up with him, since he's the creator and adds a lot of different characters for plot movement, yeah?
As for the isolation of friends, we can already figure out why she wouldn't have been talking to Reid and Adela, because they'd both been isolated as well. And then Alicel is dead, so that's another given. And as for Rosaline… now of course, it's because she's dead (although the direction David seems to be taking due to his suffering for killing her suggests otherwise. <_<) but before, I'm sure you could've made it so that Faewyn wasn't isolating herself from Rosaline. I mean, Rosaline was kind of like a footnote, so… But, for 20 plus years….. That changes the story a little. xD; I was thinking that in the five-year-time period, it'd basically just be everyone-for-themselves, and for the current times, it'd be Aertan being like, "Don't get mixed up with them! Dx" Or something, but 20 years… Maybe you could have Faewyn be busy with something…? Hmm, but she doesn't seem like the type who'd ignore her friends just because she was busy. xDD Unless she was worrying about another friend? :O! *Reece...?*
Aertan'll bust a cap if that's the reason though. xDDD *SHOT*
If we do do a timeskip though, there'll be a whole lot of extra stuff to figure out. *siiiigh* Well. We'll worry about that later. X_x
"Once that's done, I'll be just about set for a full-scale unofficial comeback as, get this, army regulations explicitly forbid the people in the military from making me do anything physical exhausting from that point onward, so all there will be to do will be handing my military stuff back so they can get it ready for the next set of poor bastards coming around on the 5th of July and just killing time."
^ Epic win. <3
