Your Digimon game is good; there's nothing really wrong with it. However, your Pokémon games could use a bit more work. The main thing that bugs me is that you aren't modifying the scripts. Most of the games I consider to be 'good' have had work put into the scripting, such as Raptor or True Story. It's not hard to learn; I could link you to some tutorials. The others have some sort of unique graphics made specially for that game, such as Fakemon or tiles (something you might want to consider). I think the best games have both custom scripts and graphics, such as Acanthite.
If you think Amethyst isn't that good, at least say why...
