New York has a beach? Oh yeah, Lake Huron right? lol I'm so used to calling it Lake Erie these days. Funny as that is, Lake Erie & Lake Huron are also counties in Ohio. Huron County is where I live in Norwalk, Ohio, Sandusky, which is 20 minutes away when you're driving, is in Erie County (Also Norwalk & Milan are neighbor cities, so Milan is in Erie County also, I can walk 15 minutes just about to cross that :P)

I don't even remember what the other two lakes are x)

Nah, I don't think I'd be surprised with how shy you are, I totally get where you're coming from. People are like "omg why are you scared of talking to mods / staff / older members, that's dumb they're just people" and it's true, they are - but from the other side that's really hard to see. Like, I was terrified to talk to anybody when I first joined because I would always just think "ugh I don't wanna be an annoyance, I'm sure they get so many people wanting to talk to them already I'd just be a bother" lmao.

And tbh, a lot of the other members probably felt that way when they joined as well, so I always get a laugh when they're all "omg just treat them like everybody else" because it's easier said than done and they very well know that. I remember trying to VM Livewire and Sydian back when I first joined because they seemed really nice but I could never shake the feeling that they were just replying to be nice :P.

SO yeah wow tl;dr I get what you mean haha.
