That's true. |D On my first day of university, I met a girl, purely by chance, and we stuck together. It wasn't until after a few days that I found out she's an avid reader of manga. |D I was like "8D ME TOO".

Yeah. Where I live, Anime and Manga are still considered to be weird. Many (older/adults) people still associate it with the stigma of "sex and violence" (as those were the first series to enter the European mainland) and although it's getting more popular with (older) teens, it's still a bit frowned upon. And for Pokémon, well that's childish. I blame the TV series for that. Some people just don't want to see that there are other ways to enjoy the Pokémon fandom besides the TV series.

Oh, weird people are really lovely, for the most part. I love weird people. At least half my friends are pretty much terminally abnormal, and more probably about eighty per cent.

And yeah, the place is great. I spent today building a machine for drawing out of my fellow students, some wire and a colossal quantity of leaves. To make everything even better, it actually worked, which was more than I had any right to expect given what we made it from. So my life is pretty good right now, to be honest. It's definitely a change from school.

I know the feeling, though with my timetable it looks like on some evenings at least I'll have time to write, which is excellent.

Art college is pretty much exactly what I thought it would be: there are many lovely weird people, a lot of art lying around, and a haze of cigarette smoke pervading all.

Not there yet. I start my course at art college tomorrow, which should be fun but will take a huge chunk out of my available writing time. Never mind. It had to happen some time.

As for my application for English, it's still ongoing. I won't know if I've even got any interviews until November/December, and I won't know if I got in until January at the earliest.

Other than that, life continues as normal: a pleasurable paddle-steamer cruise down a tropical river of books, video games and the occasional fragment of reality.

Yeah, sometimes you have to show you know something for others to admit their love as well. That's what you get with underrated anime (or anything for that matter).

Exactly. This anime deffinitally deserves more attention. It's one of the true gems that a lot of people probably will like, yet no one bothers looking at it.
It's a start to recommend it to everywhere who wants an anime to watch and hope it spreads... but it deffinitally deserves a larger fanbase that now.
