It's wonderful to hear from you, I find that lately I have been having a hard time coming onto forums as of late, because of classes and all, but I tend to be more active during the fall and winter months for some reason. Do you Skype? I am trying to get into the habit of doing that. And we can keep making those huge walls of texts if you want to! I'm all for it!

Especially with pictures I find like this(<--very mild Harry Potter spoiler), this, and this, it's hard not to go back. That last one is one of my favourites.

There's so much death in Code Geass, it's hard not to get emotionally invested in the show. I love Lelouch's final deception and subsequent downfall though. It was amazingly unlike Light from Death Note even though they're almost the same person.

Orwell is indeed one of my heros. The BBC wanted to have an Orwell statue erected outside recently, because Orwell worked for the BBC once, but some idiots said he was too left wing to represent the BBC. I said, screw em.

Anyway yeah, that's the thing about MLP. My little sister watches both the new MLP that I watch and the old girlier (relatively speaking of course) version, and the difference is clear. The new MLP watches more like a proper cartoon, if anything, and not a pander-to-gender-stereotypes type deal.

Do that. I mean, I did once, but that never got anywhere. That's mostly because I hate schedules though, and I got stuck on Reddit for most of Summer. I hate that about myself.

Ah, Code Geass. So awesome. It's like politics with giant robots. Normally, I'm not into the whole giant fighting robot thing, but sometimes the show has a different angle to it and I get excited. Code Geass piqued my political side and it was amazing. Neon Genesis Evangelion was more mindscrew if anything, and I loved that about it.

I'm a big fan of Orwell, as some people know. Mostly it's his political ideology which I like, and his writing, and also the way he acted. The fact that he once went homeless on the streets of Paris just to experience it justifies his awesome in my book.

Yeah, I became a brony about a year ago. Just right after you left or sometime after --I'm not incredibly sure. In the beginning it was mostly the "WHY DO I LIKE THIS?" mentality most bronies seem to have at the start. Now it's just, "Wooo, ponies!" I guess you're either into it or you're not. xD

Anyway, yeah. Once you finish school: DO ALL THE THINGS. You'll probably have less time to do whatever hobbies you want to do in college/uni/work.

I'm just really trying to balance my time, and I barely watch TV anyway. I need to find a really good original anime that won't annoy me with cliches and that I'd enjoy watching. I tried Clannad and it was good, but I didn't get into it because the first episode had the standard bored guy meets quirky girl premise. I have seen that far too many times. :s
I guess I just don't have the time to casually watch anime. I need to find something really good and original.

Oooh... orals. I hate orals. I had to do French orals once. Not a pleasant experience. I kinda wish I'd gone to school in Australia. Passing Indonesian oral would have been a breeze for me. xD

I'm glad that you've read it. Indeed, it's a brilliant book. Orwell died to write it, quite literally. I think he was ill in the final days of his life while writing the book after he fell in a lake or something.

I'd love to get back into the PC game, but I'm dealing with a rough patch in life right now, so I do feel a mite guilty spending any time at all on forums, though they're not all bad. I did have a convo going on for a bit with one of my friends, but he and I have moved on to another forum and our convo here kind of died off.

Anyway, what's new on your end? In the past year, I reconnected with my love of cartoons and, strangely, have been watching less anime. Other things happened too, but I don't know if that warrants an interesting conversation. :P
