Well, third gym is kinda far... like, way on the other side of the map lol so will probably end up doing a demo when I finish eventing Safyre Cave and introduce another plot event that adds "suspense" to the next "episode"

Scripts are like when you talk to someone or something or you step on a specific tile on a map and an event happens. Thats a script.
Battle system and start menus are not scripts.
The start menu is activated when you press start, and has multiple choices.
the text in it is possible to change with advance text.

The battle systems graphics are loaded separately from different parts in the rom
there is a tool that came out on saturday by jambo51 called bsp
Or battle script pro which you can change text like

or something simple. The graphics are in unlz gba and we could try to change them

I looked into it, and it is not hacking, it is a creator.
Hacking is taking the real game and changing it like how the other hacks are
rmxp is a customizer and it does all the work for you. You just tell it do this
do that and it will.

textboxes are easy ive done that before
I saw a tutorial on the background, though i never tried it
Ill check VBA and see if i can get the location of all of these offsets
The menu like when you press start may not be so bad
