  • Thank you very much for your suggestions :)
I had another look at Swellow and he looks all right. I don't like Crobat so I'll take Swellow instead. :p
What do you think his moves should be?
Right now I've only trained Gardevoir, Breloom and Swampert a bit.
I'll see what I can do for the others.
Flygon looks cute, but his first evolution looks horrible hehe.
I need to make it evolve fast! Also, could you tell me which vitamins I should give my Pokémon?
I'm afraid they'll refuse to take them again.
Thank you for answering so fast.
I'm okay I guess, IRL I have tons of work (I'm doing a research paper on British/American phonetics, heavy stuff.)
I said I'd take a break for a few days because otherwise my head will explode :p

    What about you?

I'm currently playing the Ruby version but I read Emerald is better. Oh well that's fine :)
Right now I have a Swampert (he's about to evolve into a Swampert actually), a Ralts, and that's it. I've been farming items with Zigzagoon. What type of vitamins should I give my young Pokémon? The last time Gengar and another Pokémon refused the vitamins, I think they were too grown-up to take them. :(
I think I also had Breloom in an old R/S/E and I loved him. I have a soft spot for Water, Grass, Fight and Ground. [IMG]
That's why I've always wanted a Camerupt too.
Swellow, I don't know. I'm not a big fan of birds, but I saw his speed stat, and I wanted to get a very fast Pokémon. My main problem is his lack of sturdiness.
I don't like Manectric at all (I have an issue with Electric Pokémon sadly, except for Pikachu. [IMG])
Hariyama looks pretty good. I get Hariyama almost every time I play R/S/E for some reason.

I think I'll catch and use a Salamence. I absolutely want a Dragon on my team.

Well I think that's it, I hope it won't be too difficult to build a good team. Swampert is a very good first choice, I agree [IMG]

Right now I need help with Swampert's moveset (and Ralts' too.)
    They're growing really fast! :)
    Hi :)
Yeah I tried to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! but I got tired of it. Actually I started watching Pokémon, but I don't know if I like it yet.
I "finished" FR yesterday thanks to your advice. :)
I was a bit sad when several of my Pokémon fainted during the E4 so I've decided not to do a second E4 run.
I think I should have studied up Pokémon types more. I'm a better trainer than before, but I'm still horrible sometimes. :p

Do you think I should play R/S/E next and what Pokémon would you recommend?
I'd like to have really strong ones. I don't know which starter is best. I kind of want the Grass starter :)
Ooo I see, I might check it out then:D! I just hope the controls are okay cause sometimes I am nooby in that haha
Ooo, is it free to use? And hard game controls? Also do I need to make an account and such:p? I might make it just for you lol
    Hi again
Thank you for the advice on Zapdos! I'll take care of him once my Snorlax is past level 40 (he's lagging behind the others a bit).

I now have all the badges but I think Victory Road is always very hard, so I would like to know which moves I should teach my Pokémon before going further into the game.
I must admit I haven't bothered to improve their movesets much so far because I mainly wanted to level them up.
Please ignore the Hidden Power on Venusaur, I have tons of TM10 because of Meowth and I taught him Hidden Power to get rid of a really bad attack. [IMG]
I'd also like to know which Pokémon I should use PP UP and my other vitamins on (Calcium, Iron...) and for which stats. I don't know which Pokémon is the weakest.
I'm legit playing (I did force the natural evolutions of Gengar and Alakazam but my Pokémon are all natural, no enhancements [IMG] )
I don't even know if using Rare Candy isn't considered cheating. I gathered 10 of them while playing.

    1. Alakazam, Lax, level 56
I've mostly EV-trained her with lots of love. I think her stats are good, but her moveset is horrible. [IMG]
    HP 149
    ATK 89
    DEF 91
    SP ATK 174
    SP DEF 103
    SPEED 176

Right now she's sitting in a storage box inside the PC because I'll need two TM slaves at least. I might not be able to take her with me on the actual Victory Road, though if she's a big asset I'll consider her.
    Her moveset:
    Psychic/Confusion/Reflect/Psybeam

    Gengar 52 Gentle

    HP 140
    ATK 96
    DEF 80
    SP ATK 159
    SP DEF 114
    SPEED 140

She got a bit less EV-training love than Alakazam but I think her stats are still okay.
    Moveset:
    Hypnosis/Shadow Ball/ Confuse Ray/ Dream Eater

    3. Lapras lv 54 Calm
    Haven't EV trained her much.
    HP 217
    ATK 116
    DEF 108
    STP ATK 106
    SP DEF 129
    SPEED 86

    Surf/Body Slam/Rain Dance/ Ice Beam
I think she deserves vitamins just because I overlooked her for so long. [IMG]

    4. Venusaur lv 57 Hardy
    HP 182
    ATK 113
    DEF 119
    SP ATK 159
    SP DEF 136
    SPEED 117

His high speed is a result of bad EV training at the beginning.
Hidden Power/ Sleep Powder/ Leech Seed/ Razor Leaf

    Snorlax lv 40 Impish
    HP 188
    ATK 110
    DEF 78
    SP ATK 61
    SP DEF 95
    SPEED 42

    Headbutt/Sleep Talk/Rest/Body Slam
Couldn't have him use Yawn. He'd be the third "I'll put you to sleep" Pokémon on my team. Too much. [IMG]

Zapdos (which I haven't used yet)
    50
    Brave
    Thunder Wave/ Agility/ Detect/ Drill Peck

    HP 154
    ATK 104
    DEF 96
    SP ATK 132
    SP DEF 110
    SPEED 104

That's it, I hope you can help my little team. We thank you :D
    Hi :)
Thank you very much for adding me to your friends!
I trained Lapras to level 50, and I just love her. Sadly she doesn't have the best stats but it doesn't matter much since Arcanine or Jolteon would be much weaker (and less loveable).

I will give you my Pokémon's stats and movesets once they're leveled up a bit more, but for now I have one more question if that's okay:
I don't mind using Zapdos (I'm stuck on the Islands anyway) but I was wondering if you knew a good moveset for him.
I'll stay on the Islands until my Pokémon are all level 55+ :)
Haha true lol and I am not too sure about beating me:P. We could do something like a "virtual" challenge haha. Instead of we duel online, we just use our real life cards, pretend we are battling an opponent in real life:P. For example I use my own deck, take 5 cards, you take your 5 cards in real life and we battle lol. I placed 1 monster sea serpent 1700ATK/1650DEF in attack mode and place a face down card. Your turn :P etcetc lol. But we cant cheat! Hard to check of course but it would suck if you win cheating anyway lol xD.
Tell me about it:p! I want to so how a young kid like you faces off against an adult who grew up with it:p!
Ooo, you have never seen them before? And yeah I only saw the ones up to GX. After GX it got pretty "lame" :P. I' really old school lol:D. I wish I could challenge someone in real life with my decks lol. What deck did you run at the tournament?
Hell no xD! I am really addicted to it lol. I even have real life decks made around the dark paladin and ultimate blue eyes:p. I also play tag force 3 non stop :D. What about you?:p You like the games or the anime most?:p
I thought he learned level up Earthquake in gen II, guess I was wrong. It's been too long since I played it lol. Even so, Piloswine did miracles for me in Crystal when I had it, I like experimenting with Pokemon on teams and he did a well above good job. I know in HG/SS him and Mamoswine are tanks, fierce physical attack.
I completely forgot about Mareep, it's been so long since I played Crystal. As for Piloswine, if used right and with the right team he's a boss. Give him the right moves there ain't no stopping it in the game. With Lapras he's not that useful but with other water types he's a don.
I also saw your trainer ad. If there is a place anywhere, you can make me a Coolboy

    My Gen 2 favorites: Feraligatr,Lapras,Magmar,Electabuzz,Houndoom
Hey Wildy, I also saw the trainer ad.

I'd like to be a Victory Road trainer if possible (or one on the way there).

Some Gen 2 favs: Scizor, Heracross, Miltank, Dragonite, Arcanine
    Wildy! Hello!

I saw your ad for trainers. I'll just give you a bunch of my favorites and you can do what you want to with them.

Favorite that I would really want to have on my team: Starmie
Other favorites in first two gens: Nidoking, Ampharos,
If I were a gym trainer: Water Gym: Starmie, Lapras, Dewgong (gong gong)
Sorry, ik was de afgelopen tijd druk, ziek, moe, in het ziekenhuis etc. En ik heb toetsweek. Had heel erg weinig tijd voor Pokemoncommunity en ik mis jullie!
