I've noticed an increased rate in the safaris as well. Have you seen an exact number yet? Also,thank you, you reminded me that I wanted to level up some of my mega evolution shinies that I transported over. Especially shiny gengar, that white is going to be hot.

I want to say that this has been the easiest gen to get shinies it seems though. I've been playing since it came to the states and this is the very first game I've ever encountered any shinies. And it's been a decent amount. 3 egg hatches and about 8-9 random encounters. I honestly thought I was never going to see one in game. The first time, it caught me off guard.

I used to just trade for shinies but it's soo much more rewarding to have ones with your own id:)

Thank you again. The funny thing is that I didn't even try. I'm color blind so I never fuss over colors.lol that's neat that it worked out that way. I was just picking some of my favorites. Honedge was in place of the phantump but when I hatched the phantump I knew right away he was in the team. Couldn't find room for two ghosts do honedge didn't make the cut.

I'm still waiting for the shiny Noibat gif so I can put that in my sig too
