  • Gosh dang it, cant believe I missed that page in the document with the dependencies...
I went ahead and installed them (I already had python2, so I guess I didnt miss everything), how do I get them included in the compiling/linking process? I recompiled everything, but Im still getting the same error as before when trying to run it (same CLI output with the No PIL module error).
LOL, twice updates in 10 minutes. Nvm, at least it fix those buggy things.
Anyways,u prob forgot someone called Ca in beta tester.
So, I decided I would try one simple thing in the spec file. I changed the output name so it would no longer included the .exe in its name, which may have been fooling the OS. The newly compiled file appears to be a normal application file for linux, but im getting a nice console error when attempting to run it. Ill put it in a spoiler to see if you know what it means.

    Spoiler:
Alright, I got it to compile and without any errors, but I have realized it is compiling into a .exe, which I can't run (and I need to look into getting it to work in WINE (required resources)). BTW, if you haven't realized this, im not familiar with Python. What do I need to change in the .spec to compile into a Linux Application?
    Thanks

Damn it! I knew I should've animated it! But I was like "nah maybe that's too much" lol I will fix it later to be animated just for you
DJG tested it too. I've deleted the evolution, added a new one (Level Up) and it says -not needed-. :<
Switched into Trade, then back. The box goes blank, but when I click the arrow the argument still says -none needed-. Do I type something in the box?
Hi, I have a quick question. I'm trying to get back into rom-hacking full time again, as I use to but quit for a year or two because of personal isues, and I noticed more and more that a lot of stuff when it comes to hacking 3rd Gen has changed, do you mind pointing to where I can get a good HEX editor (as apparently, a lot hex and ASM can make for an actual, great hack) and what would be a good way to start getting back into hacking again?
Sweet. I must say that you are currently the best person in the whole of the Emulation section for making such an amazing program. I'll get testing ASAP when it's released!
    Hey! :3
I was wondering if I could be a beta tester of the secret tool? I'll happily literally flatten the program for any bugs, since if you let me I'll be testing every single thing. ^D^~
Alright, I got Pyinstaller installed (im on Arch Linux, wasn't hard just using the AUR to get it). I used the .spec you supplied and changed the file locations where needed. I keep getting this error whenever I try to compile with the new main.spec (the one you normally get doesn't do this). I also made sure I had both Python 3.x and 2.x installed just in case, since I don't know which one your using. The output from the console is in the spoiler.
