And that was the only one with lag too. The other matches ran pretty smoothly. Which is good, because if only 1 of every 4 matches has some lag, online fights will be bearable this time. Unlike in Brawl where I remember almost every match lagging.

But yeah, those were good matches. We should do that again sometime.

Really? That's a bit surprising, I didn't think I'd beat you with your best character. But man did that match have quite the lag there for a while.

Yeah, it seems that way. Or maybe there's more than one unlock condition for each character? IDK. I'm still missing the majority of the unlockable characters at this point, but I did get Dark Pit today.

I'm not sure what the unlock conditions are for the characters either. All I did yesterday was a bunch of matches against the AI, and I unlocked Ness, Wario, Falco, and Lucina. I think for Lucina though you just have to battle on the Arena Ferox stage 5 times or something; she appeared after I finished a battle on there. And yeah, they do seem harder this time around, which is strange. I remember them being kinda easy in the past. I lost to Lucina the first time I blame counter spam

252 SAtk/252 SDef isn't efficient on Delphox. For one, that wastes away its good Speed. And another thing: even if you were to make a defensive Delphox (and that's bad, considering its terrible defensive typing), 248 HP/252 SAtk/8 SDef is the superior spread. Also, in Counter that Pokemon, always provide a full set.

I'm 100% certain. Sniper has no other effects besides boosting critical hits. Remember that in Triples, some Flying moves like Aerial Ace let the user hit any opponent.

Where did you get that Sniper misconception from?

The Sniper ability has no effect on whether the Pokemon on the left/right targets a Pokemon on the very opposite end. For example, a Sniper Drapion on your left still can't hit a Pokemon to your right. In other words, Sniper's only effect is powering up critical hits.
