defientaly not charity work. its almost exactly like a job, except i dont handle bodies, i just watch. its to gain experience. i hope to go to med school to be a bioengineer, dealing with prostetics for people who have lost limbs or vaccines. this also gives you a good rep around the hospital, so it gives me a chance to go back there ans possibly get a job.

im finally allowed to drive, but i had to do allot of tests and stuff to get a lisence or a pass to do so.
and an internship is an unpaid job at an office. you are ancassistant, usually a secretary and work under the top people at that job.
