I noticed the same, not much Squirtle merchandise anymore, hardly any at all.
At least for me, possibly no more plushies till next month (this month barely started) I'm happy with Litleo, Tyrunt, and Pancham - better than no plushies.

I had already learned that, but I still stupidly sent Wailord (with three Water moves and Rest) out to battle. I immediately realized my mistake and sacrificed it for the chance to heal Swampert. That got me a second round with the Ground type moves, which were pretty much exclusive to him. Earthquake is the TM before the final Magma battle, so it's a hint to use it.

If Groudon had Rested after KOing Swampert a second time, I had no hope. I would have to try again. The fact that it just CLICKED right then and there was a Christmas miracle. And I have the catch date to prove it, the first hour of Christmas.

Guess what Santa got me for Christmas? A Groudon caught on the 10th Ultra Ball.

Now that my Alpha Sapphire team (which consists of my favorite Hoenn Pokemon) has been completed a few days ago, and currently 1/3rd of the way with my Omega Ruby (6 Pokemon I like that are not from Hoenn) - I plan on getting 2 more of each next month.

On one game I'm doing my "Over the Hedge" team and the other I'm going to try out a team I been wanting to try out for a long time, I call "Worst Team Ever" where I'm using my 6 least favorite Pokemon evolutions. I'm hoping after the Delta Episode, I may like some of them and take off my bottoms list, or regret playing it in the first place,
