Yeah, associating the Pokémon with alcohol aren't correct, at least not now, for the time being where kids are still part of their market. Some people are bashing Nintendo as the event didn't receive much profit. The problems are firstly, as you said directly associating the franchise to the alcohol without the rightful owner's consent. Secondly, they used official arts in their flyers, which is an another big nono.

I thinl you can still check your notifs from your own dashboard if you haven't view your own profile yet (viewing profile=system thinks you read all the VMs).

The staff had to switch off the notifications in order to fix the site; I believe the notifs are affected by the hack that is why they had to fix the notifs as well.

I've heard of Star Fox, but I haven't play it. Iirc, Star Fox is well received. It's rather sad to see the release is delayed.
So far the delay for Pokémon happened only in Gen II, more specifically the delayed game was known as Pokémon X then Pokémon 2! Eventually that said game turned into Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver as we know today!
