Thanks! Cali has plenty of musical opportunity, that's why my drummer wants to be an engineer while finding places to join and perform at! To be honest, the reunion shouldn't mean a fourth movie, but maybe a special edition? You could be the next generation of HSM though, which I wouldn't mind doing to be honest! People should just leave films alone without making sequels (*cough* Ghostbusters *cough*). Flamethrowers were there! We actually were NOT front-row, we were off to the side and at least 13 rows back. That's how powerful the flames were hahahaha! I felt my face just to make sure hair was still in existence above my eyes xD

Aww, it's not that bad haha. We even competed in a "Battle of the Bands" contest and got second (and $100)! People sure do have varying tastes, so I totally can see someone like your friend existing with those "polar opposite" tastes! They're making HSM4?! That's way too many for me, I was happy with the 2 that came out hahahaha. I have some sturdy picks I found online, they come in several different colors and they are fantastically sturdy, haven't had any problems with them yet! I can find them online for you, they're fairly inexpensive and they even have a sweet grip for your fingers! For the tour, it was just them. My eyebrows almost got burnt off my face from how close we were to the flamethrowers!!!!

Don't worry, the fire doesn't mean to hurt you :D What's wrong with being in a band? All three of my bandmates have varying tastes in music (one like heavy metal, one likes dark alt, the other likes pop alt, and I'm a classic rocker), but we all could agree on funky and neat songs to play at Coffeehouses and such. Plus Cali has some great performance opportunities that we wouldn't ever get in a lifetime in Jersey. Since my right hand is huge and my fingers are strong, I usually play by hand (going to teach myself slap sometime), but for faster songs that my fingers can't keep up with, I'll pluck. Fingers give the essential acoustic of that clean, deep bass sound rather than the abbreviated and twangy pluck of the pick. Rush released "Clockwork Angels" two days after my bday back in 2012 so I was pumped. Got to see that tour in concert and I am amazed to this day how well they performed!

Welp, I now have 2 savings, one for big stuff to buy, like a TV, and 1 for travels. :O It kinda works, i only had to get money from my travel account 4 times this year :3c
Other than that, the fact that you give that money a 'nametag' is helpfull.

WOW we have ourselves a smart student here! My finals are already over, including one test that is 7,5 hours long o_O
Total pages I wrote was over 20, so my hand was broken the rest of the week!

Seeing as you live in an awesome state, I dont think staying there is a big pain. :) let me know if you have special plans, like theme parks or something! Other than the big trip, I wont be doing that much in the summer as well, but that can be relaxing as well.

I once had a party with some buddies of mine, to celebrate we were throught High school ( I think, its called different in NLD. I was 17 years old)
And we were burning all our books in a big fire. A buddy thought it was funny to trow some liquour on it. welp that went almost wrong. So i dont like it when people trow stuff on bonfires when people are close to it :|

My thesis is going pretty wel. Im writing one about how Doctors need to organize their practises like a bussiness, instead of like a different entity. the Doctors dont get any education on how to do that, so when they want to know how they are doing, if they are still making enough money to pay the bills, they dont know how.Im writing a 'general' business plan they can use set up their organisation, to know how to deal with people you hire, how you should 'lead'/manage them, how you should keep your costs in checks, and much more. Really awesome to do, because im actually writing this for a couple of doctors atm, and will make it more 'bland' later, The doctors I am writing this for now are really happy with it, and everytime I get talk with them and show them part of the papers/analyses, their eyes start to twinkle a bit. It makes writing the thesis extra worth it :)

I hope you understand the gist of it, if not, ill be happy to explain it more! What are you currently doing for study? (not so up to date how education works in US)
Dont know how some people can get such perfect scores. For that test of 7,5 hours, I got a 6.1 on a scale of 1-10. so decent enough. I almost thought I had the highest mark, but then a girl showed up with a 9.2 of 10 :O.

I've never been to a "rager" bonfire with the 50 foot tall pile of wood, but I don't feel safe around such powerful elements hahaha! I already have converted over to the bass, it's such a beautiful instrument. I played bass in a band (because no one else wanted to do it), and there are so many cool things you can do with it! I also am a humongous Rush fan, so Geddy Lee is a huge role model for bass playing too

Yeah, I started with the romance languages, so maybe that's why French and Spanish were easier for me to wrap my head around. Haha, I hear it can come in handy if you're a lawyer or trying to decipher Harry Potter spells :D

Egypt was so long ago, but is still one of the best experiences of my life. IT'S HOT. But so beautiful and full of history. I was there to see my family, but we still got to see the pyramids and the Sphinx and other fun things. The food was amazing too!

I haven't been to the beach since last year, I wish it was July already! Hopefully no one was hurt at all, bonfires around here include musical instruments and s'mores (and civil behavior). My friend is having a bonfire with a lot of people, and I get to play my guitar with him and another buddy to swoon the masses haha

Well then, I'm excited! xD
