I watched a little of Vic Country versus Tasmania, but only about 5-10 minutes.
Is there anyone of any interest playing? Is that kid from Perth who's expected to be No. 1 pick playing for WA? I want to see whats the big deal over him.

Richo... I can't get a proper opinion on Richo. One minute you see him kicking a goal from 50 on the boundary, and then the next, he's missing a shot from 20 out, dead in front. But he and Robert Harvey are too footballers that have my full respect as there age hasn't effected the way they go about their footy.
I don't think Hall could play as a midfielder. I don't think he has versatility of Richo. I just couldn't see Barry Hall playing anywhere else than up forward, except maybe as a Full Back. But he'd be giving away far too many free kicks if he went back there.

I don't blame the Swans, because it was a stupid thing for Barry Hall to do. After coming back from injury... I mean suspension, he makes a 'swing-like' action towards Wakelin, just shows he didn't take the punishment seriously. If they want to do something, give Hall a Fevola type agreement. You screw up, you leave the club. Sydney functions fine with and without him. (Unlike Carlton without Fevola :P.)
All he did was just worth a free kick.

I'm sick of all the outrage over Barry Hall. He only clipped him, and Wakelin took a dive. The AFL should just lay off. It's not like under 10's are going to go out there, and start a melee because they saw Barry Hall throw a punch. Sorry I just hate the media's excuse "kids are impressionable".
If they had kids that played footy, they'd know even under 9's know they shouldn't throw a punch and that they'd rather try and copy Dale Thomas taking a shot from the boundary.
How could I not have heard about Polak? He's out of hospital now isn't he?. You don't want to see that happen to any footballer, no matter what team they play for. Do you think he'll get back to playing footy at an AFL standard?
