    Welcome to the 2010 PokeCommunity Get-Together Photography Contest. Last year we had an incredible amount of entries and we're hoping to make this contest just as amazing!

    Rules

    -Do not enter Pictures that are not your own. Any Picture found that is not yours will be Disqualified
    -You may only enter one Photo per Theme, Anymore will be ignored
    -Do not ask anyone to vote for you
    -Do not enter any unrelated photos, Keep to the theme
    -Do not edit your photo in anyway through Photoshop, Lightroom etc
    -If your Photo is large then place it in a spoiler

    Does the theme mean nature only? Because some may consider pictures of cities, buildings, and man mad things as part of 'our beautiful world'. Just wanting to know because I may want to enter :D
     
    Well, "Our Beautiful World", you just need to try and capture a photo of something that you think fits that theme well. Our second theme (for tomorrow) is supposed to be "Our Polluted World"...

    ^ Taken about a week or so ago when Pop decided to go for a drive :)

    To me, this represents a balance between nature and industry (similar to B/W), showing the beauty of the ocean and the world around it. But yeah, idk, looking at it now I'm not so sure. XD;
     
    It's been rainy and miserable all day(as I'm sure most of you Brits will know), and I have just gotten wet to take this:

    My idea behind it was that you can find a beautiful part of the world even in your own back garden (photo was taken in mine) and even on a day like today. This one flower instantly jumped out at me for some reason. I love the way the rain looks. I'm sure there are some more experienced entries that'll look tons better, but I'm rather proud of this photograph.
     
    I might as well give this a shot. Doesn't hurt trying something new.

    During my trips to my parent's home country of El Salvador, I was able to take this picture at a beach. I think it looks nice since it shows a balance between the water and the mountains in the background.

    Photo of a sunset at my parents' house. I resisted the urge to use a photo of a VERY beautiful Quality Suites hotel, BTW.
     
    This was taken when I went to the Carpathian Mountains. Well, if I say Brasov, you won't get it (use Google Maps if you're that curios) but that's what it is.

    Mmmm, love the theme for the first set. Provides me with lots of pretty pictures I can stare at for hours on end~

    I love taking pictures of the sky more than anything, especially rays of light ones, so here's my submission:

    Two questions.
    First off, I have to process my photo's through Aperture due to shooting in RAW, is this okay? Second off, are we allowed to submit photo's we've taken previously? Or should I go out and take photo's specifically for this?
     
    I'm not much of a photographer but this is an excuse to post a pretty picture, so. =p Have a picture of some Polish mountainside! Yay for trips earlier this year.

    1. I'm not really sure. But, it probably is.
    2. Its okay as long as you took it.
