Hi guys! Just a little moderator note here, when answering topics like the one above (favourite Fire types of each generation), please make sure to give details and explanations as to why you like the Pokémon rather than just listing them or the posts are considered spam! :) I'll let these slide for now but please edit them soon to include explanations. :D
Also as another note, the amount of topics in this club is huuugggeee, and whilst that's not necessarily a bad thing, I suggest cutting back on how frequently new topics come up since a lot of them are becoming very similar/spammy and slower members won't be able to keep up! :3 It's recommended that you only change the topic around 2-4 times a week and discuss them which each other in more detail rather than giving short answers and moving on, so it'd be nice to see some more detailed discussion please as the posts are starting to get rather spammy. :)
Thanks!
That is understood, we will keep that in mind when introducing New Topics. Thanks for leaving the note.
Okay, that makes a new rule.
New Rule: Always explain topics in detail (Sensibly and fully).
From now on, this rule shall stop this club from becoming Spammy. If any post does not meet the Detail Requirements, points will be cancelled (Apart from the first time, where instead a Warning is given out). Also, now I will recommend bringing back previous topics (It used to be allowed, but now we recommend bringing back previous Topics so we can discuss about it fully). Six members and I debated on a
Strike System. We decided to have a strike system, running on the most important rules (Follow PC Rules, Explain Topics in detail, Activeness and Arguing) which would have quite a simple strike system (Although only Activeness was discussed).
Strike System:
Activeness:
If the inactivity duration reaches 10 days, you would be given a Warning.
If the inactivity duration reaches 17 days, you would be given a Strike.
If the inactivity duration reaches 30 days, you would be given another Strike.
If the inactivity duration reaches 50 days, we can't do anything else but remove you from the club. If you want to come back, you'll have to use the Sign-Up form.
However, if you say you're going to be very inactive for a duration, then we will cancel out the deadlines.
Strikes will go after 7 days each.
PC Rules:
If you brake any global PC rule twice, you will be given a warning.
If you brake any global PC rule three times, you will be given a strike.
If you brake any global PC rule four times, you will be given another strike.
If you brake any global PC rule five times, you will be given a strike.
If you brake any global PC rule six times, you will be banned from the club for 3-31 days, depending on the severity.
Of course, strikes will wear out after 7 days each.
Topic Detail:
If you don't make a post to my satisfaction, you will be given a warning.
If you don't make 2 posts to my satisfaction, all points you could have earned will be cancelled.
If you don't make 4 posts to my satisfaction, you will receive a strike.
If you don't make 7 posts to my satisfaction, you will receive a strike.
If you don't make 10 posts to my satisfaction, you will receive a strike.
If you don't change your ways after 15 non-satisfactory posts, you will be banned from the club for 3-31 days depending on severity.
Strikes wear out after 7 days each.
Arguing Consequences:
If you argue, you will receive a warning or a strike depending on severity.
If you argue again, you will receive a strike.
If you argue again, you will receive a strike or 3-7 day ban depending on severity.
If you received a warning (From the consequence) and therefore argue again, you will be banned for 3-14 days depending on severity.
@Alexozzycake: I'm going to have a spoiler for the Topics (Which is basically VERY unfinished ones) and those are the ones that are recommended to bring back. Hopefully the club would be okay for you.
On the current Topic: Many Fire-Types are good, although we had
so little choice on the Generation IV part - ONLY 5 POKEMON (Forms wouldn't count) WE CAN CHOOSE FROM. Although some are good (Am I the only guy here who likes Heatran a bit?), There are a few which they went overboard on. Those Pokemon I'm talking about are Magmortar, oh and a string of flame from Infernape? That's a bit overboard to me. However, some of the good Fire-Types came from Generation IV, so it's a bit of a balanced argument about if they should have had more Fire-Type Pokemon in it.
