Hey, I'm new I guess :P

Hey, there, i've kind of browsed around Pokemon Community before, but this is my first time actually joining! This isn't my first experiance with a Pokemon forum, but i've never been able to get really involved in every forum i've been in the past, but maybe this one will change that! :D

Welp, i'm a casual shiny hunter, breeder, and a competitive battler on the side. I'm kind of interested in Rom Hacking and Map editing, and may even dabble into that a bit. I think that's all I have to say for now. Hope to see you all around! ;)

In all seriousness, I do hope you become active in this forum. I haven't been here for very long myself (like seriously, my own introduction thread is still on the first page.) but I want to welcome you with large open arms, and I encourage you to embrace the Light.
If I've learned anything about this forum so far, it is that this forum has a very active Rom Hacking community. You will not be disappointed. Most likely.

I can easily say this, but I used to be a lurker just like you before I eventually joined and you'll get so much more from being an actual member here. From what I've seen it appears you're into a lot of the popular sections here a.k.a. trading, battling and ROM hacking, which Archer has pretty much covered you with so do check all three areas out to your heart's content!

Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy it here and we've always got someone who's willing to assist you when you need their help, such as the staff team with the bolded usernames. I'll be seeing you around the forums and have a nice day!

Lol, to be honest, I can't even remember where I got the name from! It's my username on a couple of other platforms, so I guess I just thought it sounded cool and mystical. And I definitely plan on checking out the Rom Hacking community. Although i'm not great at scripting though... lol. Thanks for the welcome, see you around as well!

Since you say your a shiny hunter, does PC have a active shiny hunting community? The last one I was in was kind of resentful towards new hunters. I may check out your friend safari later, thanks of the welcome! :D

Great I wasn't the only one lurker! Lol, but yeah, I difinitely plan on checking out those sections, although i'm not too savy with rom hacking right now, i've had some experiance with map tile editing programs, but that was ages ago, but it's never too late to re-learn I guess. That's good, I mean, I mainly hunt on Gen 6 using the shiny charm, and I guess that veteran hunters got annoyed that the lowered odds allowed more "casuals" to get into hunting. But I haven't just hunted on Gen 6, i've completed, so far, one hunt in Gen 4 for a shiny Johto starter. I'm hunting for Mareep now on the same game, but I started it last July and have been neglecting it a lot. Lol.

The shiny charm has been soo unfriendly to me lol.. I swear it feels like the chances of finding shinies is even worse now for me. Hardly found any since completing the 'dex no matter how much I try. The masuda method isn't exactly very lucky for me either so perhaps all this trying will pay off in the future. What shinies do you have? I'm sure something will shine for you eventually, you just need to show the game who's boss and wait out that hunt like crazy! At least, that's what I do whenever a hunt drags on for a long time. I've actually got quite a collection going from hunting on Y last summer. A full box full in fact, and i'm already working on my second box in AS. But I'm most proud of my shiny Kalos starters, Regirock, and Charizard by far. Thank you for the welcome! ^ ^

Well, I do have a little over 400 hours clocked into Y. My favorite Pokemon game would have to probably be White 2 or Soul Silver, it's hard to decide! I've already got a couple of competitive teams set up, but I've mainly been using them on random online battles on the PSS. Thank you for the welcome! :D
