"By the gods!" The sun had not yet risen, but the sounds of a struggle had drawn MorallyIncorrect out of his hut and into the darkened streets. "Are you okay?"
Sphealo was sprawled out on the ground, choking in a pool of her own blood. She'd been stabbed, and the wound appeared to be fatal.
"Come on! We can't let them beat us yet!" MorallyIncorrect kneeled down, shaking Sphealo's body in a desperate attempt to get her to hold onto life, but in a brief moment the light had completely drained from her eyes.
"No!" MorallyIncorrect yelled. "I can change this! You're not dying on us yet!" He produced a small vial from his pocket and poured the luminescent liquid into Sphealo's mouth. Nothing happened for a minute, but eventually Sphealo began to cough and splutter. The Witch had just brought someone back from the dead.
"Oh, thank—" MorallyIncorrect was cut off by a sharp blow to the back of the head. He fell to the ground, his vision blurred. He could make out someone dragging Sphealo away, with two more figures standing above him. One of them was holding a large dagger and seemed poised to use it on him. He tried to call out for help, but the second figure kicked him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. A second later he could feel the dagger carving into his body.
He was left alone dying in the street. With his last bit of energy, he used his blood to write a single message on the ground beside him: "Fuck this game."

Dim daylight washed through the windows of Haven, setting the town ablaze in a bright orange glow. The second day was dawning, and it was time for another gathering in the town square.
Groggy and wary, the townsfolk of Haven once again congregated around Naku and Zami at the central podium. The looks on their faces conveyed everything they needed to: someone had been found dead.
"Last night MorallyIncorrect was murdered, but we found blood that did not belong to him at the scene of the crime, as well as an empty flask. It would seem that he concocted a potion of resurrection, and apparently he used it on
someone last night." Zami looked between the faces gathered before her. "We have not identified who this person is, but it would seem that whatever happened to them was the work of an criminal unrelated to Lilith and her Hellspawn. We have a murderer in our midst."
"We've now lost three citizens in one day. If anyone has any ideas, now's the time to speak out."
