Howdy Folks,
Used to be on here a few years ago on Pearl/ Diamond Platinum era but left for a while to focus on my real life career but now I'm back after just getting ORAS and now I'm slowly making my way through both games! I'm intending on becoming a big deal on the competitive battling again soon as I land on my feet and figure out the current Meta for battling but until then I'll be doing alot of breeding and focusing on my pokedexes for both games! For the record I'm literally starting my scratch as I missed out on the whole B&W Era and having lost my P/D/PT games which had all 3 completed dexes. But yeah! Glad to be back in the community again and look forward to hearing everyones tips and potentially making good friends on here to trade with :-).

Ooh that's awesome! How're you liking ORAS? I'd love to replay it sometime though I don't think I'd be able to set aside enough time for it haha. Sucks that you lost your D/P/Pt though! Three completed pokedexes, wowee. How long did it take you to do that?

Also since you seem interested in jumping back into competitive, I suggest that you check out PC's battle server! It's hosted on a pokemon battling stimulator called Showdown! and we host tournaments, events and other good stuff pretty regularly. Hop on if you'd like! We don't bite. :]

How's getting back into competitive battling though? God knows how long its been since I've used a proper OU team. Even my old gravity team was two or three years ago. ;__;

Welcome back to the forums, Nelsy! Lots has changed around here but hopefully you'll get used to it because we're still the same community deep inside all those changes.

I do feel sorry over the loss of your Sinnoh games, let alone ones with completed Pokedexes and all that stuff, but I'm sure you can recover from that and build back up. As mentioned above, we have a Showdown server where you'll be able to chat, battle and learn lots about the competitive scene. Sadly my computer's speed issues means I'm not on there a lot, but once I get my new computer up I should be able to pick back up over there.

I ain't no battler but I'm still happy to chat! I'm always open for a visitor message if you are feeling bored and just want to talk, but good luck settling in and I'll be seeing you around!

Starting all over is actually really fun. [: I was so excited to start a brand new file during the fourth gen days that I restarted my Platinum and lost everything.. including the Pokemon I moved over from R/S/E lol. But it was fun and worth it in some ways, starting anew was great.

Yep, there are definitely some places out there for us to be requesting signatures; we have various shops laying around in our Art & Design board, and some do offer them. When you get the chance, I would recommend you to check them out. If you need assistance with putting together a CSS signature, if you wish, you may always visit our CSS Help & Resources thread in Computers & Technology; I'm sure someone will be able to lend a hand.

Thank you aha. Going through Hoenn again is like a dream come true seeing as it was my favourite generation! Having just acquired Alpha Sapphire I'm currently playing through that to catch up with Omega Ruby! Completing this pokedex shall be a pain but this Wonder Trade seems to help alot! Haha

Yeah, ORAS are amazing remakes. Visually stunning. Wonder Trade is really fun, but I always get lame Pokemon haha. If you're lucky, you can score some really amazing stuff off there though! I got two shinies recently, a nice surprise from the lame Pokemon I usually get :3

Anyway, happy to see you are back into Pokemon. I think we all take a small break at one point. I did with the releases of Black and White and their sequels. I went back and played them though.
