It's-a me, Mario!

Hello! I'm not exactly "new" to Poke Community, I joined several years ago when I first got into ROM hacking so that I could eventually post my hack here, but I soon found that I had no free time so I had to give it up. I've picked it back up recently though, and I've been using this forum for basically everything I need.

Anyway, on other forums I've been a part of people usually refer to me as simply Mario or mm432. I kind of prefer Mario, but either is fine with me, though I've been using this username for 10 years now (damn, I feel old now), and have been considering changing it to one of a couple IRL nicknames I have, but I may not for nostalgia reasons. I love Pokemon, and have logged more time into Pokemon games and Pokemon related activities than anything else in my life, except for my job xP (though I wish I could play Pokemon as much as I work, haha). I played 4th Gen competitively, but gave it up when 5th Gen came out because I didn't like how everything started to revolve around weather. I considered getting back into it with 6th Gen since weather was nerfed (though I miss Sandstorm :(), and have plans for a VGC format team (I don't like Smogon's current rules, but I do like VGC's), but I don't have enough time to really devote to it.

I'm currently working on a ROM hack that heavily features my favorite Pokemon, but I'll leave what it is as a surprise for until I get enough of it done to release a demo, which will actually be soon, I just need to fix a problem I've run into.

I haven't been part of any forums in quite some time, at least 4 years I'd say, but now that I've finally posted here maybe I'll be active here. I hope to meet a lot of great people here, and have some fun playing other people's hacks!

Hey Mario! While I would welcome you to PC you've had an account here so long I can't really do that lol. What a way to break the system :P. Hopefully you're more active on PC since we're always open to new people, although I understand if you can't be for whatever reason.

I'll be excited to see the hack you're making once it's ready and I'll definitely play it. I saw that you already posted and found a solution to (I'm assuming) the problem you listed in your OP in the Q&A thread, so I'm glad we could help you with that.

If only playing and testing Pokemon games could be our job, right? :'( Would be super awesome and I'd never have an unhappy day in my life from then on, baha. I'm actually leaving for work in half an hour so gah. That aside, welcome back to PC, Mario! Never too late to start getting involved in this wonderful forum.

As the others advised earlier, definitely look around the ROM Hacking boards for all your hack questions. And on that note welcome aboard for you too Mario!

I'm not a hacker so don't expect me around that section nor assist with hacking questions, but we do have people who can help you so don't hesitate to ask, plus Christos and Spherical Ice are also there when you need them since they are the resident moderators.
