The Ultimate Monotype Challenge

Eh, I guess I'll just do something that's not Touhoumon since I don't think anyone will answer me.

Games: Moemon Emerald(just a sprite change, nothing else is different at all(other than the first town being glitchy), so it's just like Pokemon Emerald)

6After Lt. Surge i went on and got my bike... and then walked East of Cerulean.
On my way to the rock tunnel, Marijuana evolved into Venusaur! Awesome! I found a Pokemon Center and healed up and went into the Rock tunnel without flash :s
Luckily my childhood instincts led me safely out of the cave and into Lavender town:



Then i went West and defeated all the Trainers. I then walk through an underground tunnel and ended up in Celadon City. i Went straigt to the gym instead of doing the Team rocket misson and Solo'd Erika with Barbaras (i now see that my guys are pretty overleveld... but thats ok i guess c:)



So, after Erika i went and got Fly, realising that Golbat cannot lern fly in Gen 1 or 2.... i Facepalmed.
However, i caught an HM-Slave and then continued with the Team Rocket Quest.
There isn't really much to say then thati never needed to heal and got through to Giovnni and Solo'd him with Hornyqueen c:


I then went back to lavender town to get the Pokeflute, Team rocket was eeeeaaaasy.
I Also decided to catch a gastly, even if i cant get Gengar....
I Named him SuicideKid and trained him up to the same lvls as the other guys c:
During that training he evolved into Haunter ^^
i then took the route south of Lavender to get to Fushia.
I Challenged Koga right away and SuicideKid Solo'd him.

Last Update for Kanto :D

-Tried to beat Blaine, but I got burnt (see what I did there? :p)
-Grinded my Pokes to 52ish
-Took him down Lime's Dig
-Then I did the Island stuff
-Headed over to Viridian once I finished
-I beat Giovanni, a lot easier than I thought it would be
-Headed down Victory Road and fought Gary again
-He beat again with that freaking Charizard, so I went to grind again!
-Got my Pokemon to level 58ish and took him down :D
-Got to the Elite Four and they gave me some problems, but after a few attempts finally got to my rival
-Yet again he beat me :(
-Went and grinded some more and bought a ton of potions
-Ran through the Elite Four and finally beat Gary with my Pokemon at 63+

Final Update for Kanto!!

It is my last update for Kanto also! They were way underlevelled, but it was still easy. I'm also going to upload the Champion Battle onto Youtube, for now i have a screen shot.

-Doused Blaine's fire.
-Went to One, Two and Three Islands'.
-Ground Giovanni to mere pebbles for the third time.
-Beat Shine (Rival).
-Got my badges checked (Like a boss xP).
-Bought 60+ Items.
-Entered into Lorelei's room and Froze her passion.
-Sheer force brought Bruno down.
-Poisoned Agatha's thoughts of me.
-The Mighty Dragons fell to me.
-Battled Shine! Lost!
-Resetted!
-Battled him again! And destroyed him!

Okay now the ratings. MVP, LVP, Co-MVP and Other time.

MVP: This spot definitely goes to Dissolver, my Vaporeon. The amount of times this guy saved me, i cannot count. His moveset just made it a whole lot easier. I'm so glad i went him instead of a Tentacruel. Also, 31 HP IV!!

Co-MVP: Beast the Blastoise. He definitely showed his use but lost the place for MVP in the E4. He just wasn't doing as well as the others. But he definitely had a huge movepool. For all of Kanto, he was the MVP. Then he was the Co-MVP when it was E4 time.

LVP, E4 + Champion MVP: Chomp the Gyrados.... His attack was montrous! even with a Sassy Nature! But he could never show it with that crappy movepool that only proved use E4 time! He did badly ever since i got Ferry. But he was definitely the best pokemon for the E4, with access to Double Edge, Dragon Dance and Earthquake, man did he sweep! If only he had them Pre-E4.

Other, E4 Co-MVP: Ferry the Lapras. He was very useful! Excellent movepool! Absolutely EXCELLENT! Hydro Pump, Shock Wave, Ice Beam and Psychic, he was definitely a force to be reckoned with. He almost nipped Co-MVP but just missed out.

And with that, i move on to Johto! Probably do an Original or Soul Silver.

Ok so, my Save file crashed and i had to start over from the Rock tunnel so what I did:

> Get to lavender

> Beat Erika
> Got Fly
> Beat Giovanni
> Beat Pokemon Tower
> Got Poke Flute
> Got to Fushia
> Beat Koga
Again.

So now to the Update!

After i beat Koga i went south and Caught myself my final Team member! Tentacool.
I Named him Kraken and moved on. I Trained him up to the same levels as my other guys, and then went to Saffron.
I beat the fighting mini-gym and the walk right into Silph. co
I remember this place as my home, i almost directly walked to Gussi and beat him, Easily.
Giovanni was even easier, being solo'd by Marijuana.

Then i also went to Saffron gym, defeated all the trainers and Sabrina too, despite being weak to her...



After Sabrina i felt i wanted to do some grinding, namely, get all my guys to lv 50.
So thats what I did, some lerned new moves the reat is pretty much the same.
So I surfed down to Cinnabar and entered the Pokemon Mansion, still, because this is a game i have played since i was like 4 or 5, i remeber this place throughly.
So it wasn't so hard for me to get the Secret Key.
About the gym..... Kraken pretty muc solo'd the whole gym.



Ehem...... i also went and beat Giovanni for the final time, destroying Team rocket!

THE LAST UPDATE:
Ok so, yes im done with Blue and i'll be moving on to Crystal, but not untill after this weekend.
So i went towards the Leauge and met with Gussi, and i bested him once again, even killing his Charizard with Marijuana cX
I went through the guards and into the Victory Road.
Still, i remember this place to well as well. I had no problem navigating the dungeon and defeated all the trainers on he way.
I Grinded up all my guys to lv 55 and Continued on to the Pokemon leauge....

Lorelei was no match for Hornyqueen, as she carries Thunderbolt.
The only one i had troubles with was her Jynx, but SuicideKid took care of Jynx and Lapras.

Bruno was even easier, Barbaras just destroyed all his fighting types, while Hornyqueen took care of the Onixes.

Against Agatha, i decided to use Kraken, just because he is.... good? .__.
Well, Kraken killed Gengar, Haunter and Golbat. And Hornyqueen Arbok and the other Gengar.

Lance was pretty easy too. Hornyqueen took care of Gyarados and Aerodactyl, while Kraken beat the Dragons.

And then, the champion, Gussi. My Rival.
Well, as i was a little bit overlvld for having 5 Pokemon, i decided to make the battle more fair-
Who am i kidding? i Destroyed him.
Hornyqueen beat Pideot wit Thunderbolt, Exeggutor with Fire Blast (Although, he was annoying with that Hypnosis...) and Gyarados with Thunderbolt.
SuicideKid Beat Alakazam and Kraken Rhydon.
I Wanted to make it more fun so i Used Marijuana against Charizard, which worked well! Just because of Toxic/Leech Seed combo... ^^''

MVP: Yeah. I have to give this to Marijuana, He was pretty much the heart of the team and He was very strong almost all of the time. He almost always stayed alive, and i could always count on him. And he prety much teared though everything in his path so yea.
Elite Four LVP: Yup, the best can also be the worst. Well, its not that, i guess.... if I had USED him in the elite four this may not be.
I didn't use him untill the very last pokemon, Charizard, so yea, i considered him pretty useless in the Elite Four.

Elite four MVP: Well, with all those coverage moves its to be expected... Hornyqueen was just so good inte elite four, because she had so many uses!

LVP: Well.... Golbat just didn't cut it. i first decided to use him because i wanted someone with Fly, and when i realised he cant learn it, I Saw it as too late.

So i decided that i would go with an Original, and chose Silver over SS.

-Did the start stuff.
-Picked Totodile (duh!) named Neptune

Final Update on the white version of my ultimate monotype challenge! I left off after beating the elite four for the first time, and doing a bit of exploration in the non-eastern half of Unova.

Aaaand... I'm lazy. I cleared the Eastern half of Unova, using the lucky egg and leveling my team up for a while. Then fought Cheren and Miromoto, and then off to the Elite Four.

Marshal: He led off with Breloom, and Krookodile's Aerial Ace took it down. Golurk took on the rest except for Sawk, who was ultimately finished off by Excadrill. This guy wasn't that tough.

Shauntal: Most of his Pokemon went down to a good Crunch or Earthquake from Krookodile, but Jellicent required some help from Stunfisk and Seismitoad.

Grimsley: Easy the most difficult due to the lack of a fighter on the team. Sharpedo went down to Stunfisk, and my Krookodile matched up with his. Seismitoad's Drain Punch helped me win out the rest of the way.

Caitlin: Easy peasy. Excadrill + 3 Swords Dances + X-Scissor = pwnage.

Alder: He was actually slightly tough. Amazingly enough, my Stunfisk took down Accelgor. Go figure... Bouffalant went down to Golurk, and Stunfisk finished off Escavalier after the rest of the team couldn't handle it. Vanilluxe went down to Seismitoad and Krookodile finished Druddigon. Volcarona was horrible, just horrible. It was faster than Excadrill, so Rock Slide never got in. I poisoned the thing with Seismitoad, but it Hyper Beam'ed me away. I had brought along a nice Level 30 stunfisk just as a staller (still a ground type), and it actually came in, being the only one left. Volcarona had to recharge and was finished by the Poison. And Stunfisk gained over 13,000 exp points!

And that's all for the challenge! What did I learn? Ground types can be really tough, but they have a typical weakness to water, and Thunderbolt isn't widespread on Ground-types. The faster ground types tend to hit harder, though they're more vulnerable with defense. Overall, though, ground types are pretty good, especially with the fact that Earthquake is one of the most powerful moves in the game when combined with STAB. And Swords Dance is beastly. And anyone who can raise a Stunfisk to Lv. 70 is awesome.

-pick charmander as a starter,named him zippo.

-level up zippo to 12 on route 1.
-pick up oak's package and deliver it to him.got the pokedex and 5 pokeballs.
-head to viridian forest and roasted the bug population until zippo was level 20,let zippo evolve into charmeleon.
