Seeing that there's one more day until a month (right, Harry :P), I would Google the UPS patching program, or go to Pokemon Flora Sky and there's a UPS patcher there.

Looks real interesting... but what is UPS? Do you mean IPS?

This ROM Hack seems interesting. It has a story like the anime but not a Season 1 Kanto, Season 2 Orange Islands, etc. Instead it shows how Ash's Mom and Dad met in a person's version of it. Some maps resemble Fire Red's maps like Route 104 is like Route 11 and Shamouti Island is like Route 5.
