Okay, yeah, that's definitely counterfeit. No official TCG cards were branded with the Pokemon Go branding. Which confirms that your Mew EX is a counterfeit.

Also, most Full Art EX cards are supposed to be textured in some way.

    Ah shoot. Oh well.

Could someone help me out with the value of this card? What I know so far: It is a Japanese Pocket Monsters Pokémon No. 066 Machop and it is a foil card.

$0, as it's a counterfeit/fake. None of the fonts or symbols are accurate to the actual card and that foil pattern has never been used on any official cards.

So, while I don't have a value for you (been trying to find what's supposed to be in the complete set to confirm), they are all from the first Pokemon World Collection.

Actually, scratch that, I think there's supposed to be 9 cards in there. It seems to be worth anywhere between $40 and $60 as a set.

Are my base set cards worth anything?

So i found my old pokemon card collection in a card folder i had and decided to see what they go for these days. I did some research and found that the good ones to have are shadowless or first edition, i have neither of those. I dont want to sell them anyway but would any of these be worth getting a PSA rating? Theyre all base set 1999 except for the snorlax. Any help is appreciated, they are all in pristine condtion as they were kept in card sleeves in a folder and never played with. I have more that arent in the photo ie. zapdos and magneton.

Could someone tell me what I could expect if I sell this card? As you can see it is a first edition holo. I would discribe the condition as near perfect/perfect. On ebay I found offers from around 50 EUR up to 500 Dollar.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Is this worth having sent out to be graded? It is a Holo.

Nah. Too many scratches on it, IMO.

Were you checking the Sold Listings? Sold listings are what matters, not what is actively being listed, as what people are willing to buy for and what people are tryingt. Considering the English one only sold for about $20 USD (and the English language cards tend to be worth more than non-English cards), you should expect $10 US for it. Those listings you've seen are people trying to convince someone it's worth that much, honestly. Also, your card is not in perfect condition as far as I can tell. I see scratches on the card which would lower the value, to something more like $8 USD.

    POKEMON COLLECTION

    Hello all!

I have such a collection of pokemon stickers, visible on the pictures.
This is a collection from chipicao from 2000 or 2001. I do not remember exactly, I collected it when I was a very small :) :P

All stickers are kept in the studio for those over a dozen years.
They are all in PERFECT state, the glue still holds very strongly.
It's almost the whole collection, I miss a few of stickers.
Some of the stickers I have a few pieces.

Could someone tell me how much this can be worth?

sorry for my bad english :P

The scratches were on the plastic sleeve it was in. Here is a scan without sleeve.

    1. Has anyone ever seen a holographic Dark Flareon from Team Rocket set? Makes me think the card is fake but not quite sure

    2. What about the square cuts? I have much more than just this Raichu but was curious if there is a good way to tell if these are real or fake

Depends on condition, a photo is abit hard to judge from, also depends on how much you want to spend? I'd spend it to see how they turn out etc,but as I said before it depends on the scratches and corners also if they are played cards you wont get a good grading.

Ok so in one of my videos I got a ink spill card, the back of the card was mostly blue,Im thinking of getting it graded.

I saw a hunter fossil card on ebay for tonnes of cash PSA graded, now I know that its a vintage card and it was a HOLO, my card is a Basic Venipede card from Burning Shadows,If I was to grade it would it be worth much in the future.....say 20 years down the track?

https://youtu.be/d4Nn92PKX4I heres the video the card comes up around 7:40mins into the video so skip it and have a look.

But yeah guys be keen to hear your thoughts, and see what i can do with it.

    cheers Tyrant.

I have a Weedle card from the Base Set that has a gold dot in one of the corners of the picture. I was wondering if that makes it worth more money or not. It is Card # 69/102.

I wouldn't bother with a PSA grading for the Venipede. Most commons don't have significant value, even from the Base Set, and that sort of defect isn't really something that most people seek out that would inflate the value.

Late, but I've never seen that so I'm inclined to think it's counterfeit.

Square cuts are generally real, but sometimes people buy uncut card sheets that Wizards of the Coast never cut and then cut them themselves to artificially inflate the supply of square cut cards to take advantage of the demand that exists for them, though their pricing is pretty hard to pin down as the market for them is a smaller subset of collectors.

It's just a manufacturing defect that quite frankly doesn't improve the value at all.
