Hey so i was looking through my old folder and found these pikachu cards from the 1999 australian tour with a gold stamp. Theyre in great condition. Worth getting rated?

Based on prices for the card in the USA on eBay from the sold listings, looks like it's worth getting graded unless the shipping is too much. It's around $50 US without a grading and $150 US with the grading.

Though it has gone as high as $100 US ungraded and as low as $125 graded.

Hello, my brother and i recently went trough our old pokemon cards to see if they were worth anything. My brother found that some of them where worth up to $1000 but i was abit unsure about that. I was wondering if you could possibly take a look at them. Thanks.

It's late at night so I can't get you values, but I can tell you with certainty that none of those are worth $1000 or anything close to that.

Hello guys! I discovered today 4 cards signed by sugimori authenticated by psa. Do you know that PSA authenticates the sugimori signed cards? I only knew those of arita ... I enclose photos and if you also want links to the articles in question!
A poke-greeting to everyone!

PSA doesn't authenticate signatures though, i thought? IIRC, they explicitly state on their site that they only authenticate condition of a card when it comes to Pokemon cards.

There are quite a few Charizards released under "XY" so you're going to have to be more specific. Are you talking about the XY Evolutions (11/108) reprint? I noticed you were opening Evolutions in your YT video so I assume it's that. Either way, for New/Mint the reverse holo seem to be going for around $9 - $11 from what I sourced!

I'm wondering what this is worth. All the cards like it I have seen are either in Japanese or in English but with their respective languages for the signature. I found it odd that this card is in English AND has a (I think Japanese) signature.

$0, basically. What you have is a card that was part of a promotional deck that was not legal for official play called the World Championship decks, which get released every year based on the top 3 or so finishers in each division of Organized Play, sometimes only the winning decks receiving such a release. And to mark which deck it's from TPCI puts the signature of the player who used that deck at Worlds onto the picture.
Yours is from one of the 2006 decks. The card essentially has no value without the rest of the promotional deck, and even with the rest of the deck might not have much value with that bottom left corner coming apart.

Hi. I've merged your post into our "What is this/How much is it worth?" thread as that's where these posts belong.

Your answer is in the photo you took of the card back. It's from a series of promo decks called the World Championships decks, and this is from one of the decks printed for the 2006 run. They are not tournament legal because they have a different back and a mark on the front of the card in the form of the signature of the player who made the finals for their division (juniors, seniors, and masters are the 3 age divisions) that ran the deck that card is from. There's not much online about them as collectors and players alike have very little interest in them unless they're sealed complete sets.

Does this explanation make sense to you?

Pokemon Fighting Energy Card 97/102 Misprint?

Hi all,

I was going through some old cards and came across this energy card. I was wondering if anyone happened to know if it was a misprint or an energy card from an international set/different edition?

Thanks

Hi, I've gone ahead and merged your thread into our main "what is this/how much is it worth?" thread.

I've got a question for you: Is there any copyright information anywhere on them? I'm inclined to think they're counterfeits if there isn't.

Are you talking about that manufacturing defect white ring over the Fighting type symbol on the right-hand card? That's just a defect. If not, what are you talking about? The card on the left seems darker because it seems like it's in a sleeve, but unless you take it out of the sleeve I can't get a good idea of any color differences as the light will be distorted a bit by the sleeve.
