Sony gave up on Jak. Ratchet got his own movie and PS4 games.
If that's not enough, here's a death battle between the two.
I'm also somewhat surprised OP didn't include the third of the Sony Trinity, Sly Cooper...or at least make an exception for this time.

I grew up with Jak and Daxter, though I think I overall enjoyed the Rachet and Clank games more. o:

I've never had the pleasure of playing either series, but I've seen streams of each series of games. Daxter is a goof and a half based on his antics so they get my vote!
