Including all of those at Professor Oak's Laboratory, at Professors' Kukui and Burnet's home and in training by others, and besides all of those traded and given away, I'm just wanting to know what kinds of Ash's reserved and released Pokémon does you think will be forgotten in the anime by everyone? His Butterfree, after all years, Ash never saw him* again, he only apears in Ash's memories, and i doubt his Pidgeot will come back excluding that dub line where Ash says he will "come back for it, once they return from orange islands", as for turtle gang leader Squirtle, i doubt we will see him** as an Blastoise with sunglasses anytime soon

Primeape. Pretty sure Ash hasn't even mentioned ever having owned one in the anime since giving it to that one guy in Kanto. It's already been long forgotten, and will probably stay that way for the rest of the anime's lifetime.

Pidgeot, too, I guess. Ash has never even mentioned ever having owned one or even thought about his Pidgeot in over twenty years. The anime brought up Butterfree, but never Pidgeot. It's kinda bothersome, if you ask me.

Considering that he seems to reset in every region, he probably doesn't even canonly remember them? Which kinda sucks. They really should have an episode or more where he meets some of the Pokémon he released. They should be more important to the writing teams, but you know. :(
