For Pokemon Snap? Or a sequal for the N64? xD
I think that's the only game that would really get me excited to brush all that dust off my Wii and actually put it to use again. :(
Is there much point to it? Pokémon don't have much detail to them, and so what can they do with better graphics? Pokémon just isn't suited for it.I <3 my Wii. I <3 my 360. Going to keep buying and playing games for both consoles. Both have things I like and things that bug me. I don't know how anyone can have their collecting dust. I always have something to play.
I would love a Pokemon Snap 2. *__* I don't know why but the original Pokemon Snap is just such a joy to play for me. But it just is. And playing it always sends me on a nostalgia kick. It'd be a wonderful match for the Wii's controls too. Wouldn't require Motion Plus either.
However, I know that a new Snap title would just totally tick me off like the past GCN and Wii Pokemon titles have. A lot of developers don't even attempt to make use of the Wii's power and graphical capabilities. But it bugs me more when Nintendo themselves do it. And on the GCN and the Wii, Pokemon titles always look like a higher resolution N64 game. Can we up the models soon, please?
I'd say it's more a case of the former than the latter. If he really was so concerned about post count, it'd most likely be be significantly higher than it is in actuality....did you seriously just ask that?
God, I overestimated the DCC posters' intelligence. Or maybe I understimated your desire to have a higher postcount.
They can look better. Back during the Stadium days on the N64, Nintendo had pre-rendered Pokemon art in guides and such. It looked fantastic! Picture on my guide has Blastoise not looking all blocky like an N64 model and is well textured and looking all scruffed up. I think we can at least try to move more in that direction? Is there much point to it? Pokémon don't have much detail to them, and so what can they do with better graphics? Pokémon just isn't suited for it.
Snap 2 would damn well rock ♥

On the other hand, what market would there be for a Pokémon hunting game?
Nintendo's not that smart.Such a game should be released for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in order to take advantage of their superior graphics rendering qualities.
