...did you seriously just ask that?

God, I overestimated the DCC posters' intelligence. Or maybe I understimated your desire to have a higher postcount.

edit;
And talking about postcount, this is my post (in this account) #3,333, lol.

I think that's the only game that would really get me excited to brush all that dust off my Wii and actually put it to use again. :(

It'd be crazy detailed too, they definitely have that coming.

As much as a G/S/C remake would make me DROOL ENDLESSLY (Bug Catching Contests and catching Lapras on Fridays FTW), a remake of Yellow would be kind of sweet too. Gotta love your Pika.

Eh, I don't really play my Wii much either as of late. We play Brawl when friends are over or I bring it somewhere, but other than that (and the occasional PBR showdown) I haven't really used it. If Mario Tennis hits the Wii sometime soon, for sure I'll get that. XD Although that's just because I'm a tennis freak/lover, not that it'll be special.

I agree with Erica- I haven't really touched my Wii in a while, but a Pokémon Snap 2 would make me cry in joy.

And there's already Mario Tennis for the Wii (even if it's just Mario Power Tennis with Wii controls).

I <3 my Wii. I <3 my 360. Going to keep buying and playing games for both consoles. Both have things I like and things that bug me. I don't know how anyone can have their collecting dust. I always have something to play.

I would love a Pokemon Snap 2. *__* I don't know why but the original Pokemon Snap is just such a joy to play for me. But it just is. And playing it always sends me on a nostalgia kick. It'd be a wonderful match for the Wii's controls too. Wouldn't require Motion Plus either.

However, I know that a new Snap title would just totally tick me off like the past GCN and Wii Pokemon titles have. A lot of developers don't even attempt to make use of the Wii's power and graphical capabilities. But it bugs me more when Nintendo themselves do it. And on the GCN and the Wii, Pokemon titles always look like a higher resolution N64 game. Can we up the models soon, please?

Is there much point to it? Pokémon don't have much detail to them, and so what can they do with better graphics? Pokémon just isn't suited for it.

Snap 2 would damn well rock ♥

I'd say it's more a case of the former than the latter. If he really was so concerned about post count, it'd most likely be be significantly higher than it is in actuality.

They can look better. Back during the Stadium days on the N64, Nintendo had pre-rendered Pokemon art in guides and such. It looked fantastic! Picture on my guide has Blastoise not looking all blocky like an N64 model and is well textured and looking all scruffed up. I think we can at least try to move more in that direction?

Pokémon have fur, feathers, scales, wrinkles, and other such things, do they not? It'd take a bit of extra work from the art department to flesh out and add some more detail to the original designs, but it can definitely be done.

Indeed. I think it's partially Genius Sonority's fault, though- aren't they the ones making the console Pokémon games since Colosseum? And I remember Stadium models being used there... and on PBR aswell.

Meh, who cares. I just want my Snap 2.

as much as i love snap, i really want a pokemon stadium 3. that would make my heart explode. i can finally use my lvl 100 team on sapphire to dominate the prime cup... then i would finally be a pokemon master

Though, it would've been nice if it was an FPS, and, like, you hunt the Pokemon and shoot the Team Rocket members...

YAY! PH34R MY TEDDIURSA-SKIN COAT! >O I SO TOTALLY KILLED THIS 10M-LONG BARBOACH! WHEEEE~

Even though that directive was dated 12 June 2006, it'd still be a good idea even today. On the other hand, what market would there be for a Pokémon hunting game?

Such a game should be released for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in order to take advantage of their superior graphics rendering qualities. Take real good note of the fur on that Pikachu as you're peering through the scope of your Accuracy International Arctic Warfare, trying to line up the perfect shot...

Hi, I'm just popping in as a random person ;_; hope that's okayyy
But yeahhh, there are a lot of games nintendo should awfully make sequals of. I support a luigis mansion 2 all the way. :D With the wii-mote, that would be really awesome. You know, vacuum thingy with the remote, flashlight with nunchuck.. or something.

EDIT: OH WOW I'm like five posts behind. ~_~; Sorry.
But a pokemon hunting game would be.. well, reminds me of chucking apples at Pokemon in Snap. If it was bloody and gorey that'd be horrible xD; But if it was just like.. I don't know, more apple chucking or something I could see that.

Nintendo's not that smart.

I'd get the hunting game if some of the Pokemon would kill the player; I have a dinosaur hunting game somewhere and that's where the excitement comes from. Also if there were a variety of weapons — using a (sightless) bow would certainly be more challenging. (<-hypothetical, not entirely serious before you start wondering)
