This thread is for all you newcomers who have any immediate questions about PokéCommunity like what board you should check out to post something specific, how to do something here on the forums, and so on. Any newcomer can ask any sort of question they have about the forums, and any veteran (or any member willing to help) can help answer their questions.
There are also some quick links to various places around PC, as well as guides that will be posted on this thread soon, to further help you! Just be aware that this thread differs from the New Member Lounge, so feel free to converse with fellow peers on there.
VMing Guide
A way you can communicate with members on this forum is by using Visitor Messages (VMs) or Private Messages (PMs)! It's quite easy to send a fellow message to your fellow members. First, go on any member's (of your choosing) profile.
Do you see the text box? You can type out messages on that and use it to send the VMs to members. All you need to do is type the message in the box, and click the "Post Message" button.
It will show up right there on their visitor messages section on their profile once you've sent it!
Now, you'll found out when you get a Visitor Message in turn when you see a notification on the top right of the forum page.
If you click on the middle slot...
...You'll the latest visitor message you've gotten! You can then check it by going to your own profile, and you'll see the latest visitor message posted right there in your visitor message section!
