Over the years, Pokémon has had really weird merchandise like Soup of all things, during the Pokemania phase of the Pokémon franchise.

What are some odd Pokémon merchandise you've seen over the years? It can be Japanese or localized merchandise; the question applies to all regions in the world.

I remember having Dragonair underpants. One blue and one gray. Thinking about it now, it wasn't your everyday Pok?mon merchandise.

^ Actual legal tender in Niue- would be pretty cool to come across something like that in your change!

I know there's lots of weird official Pokemon food products, new and old. Off the top of my head, I can remember pasta noodles, cereal, gum, seaweed, waffles, PEZ, popsicles, and ketchup, all Pokemon branded one way or another. I also have a bottle of Pokemon ramune somewhere, though I never tried tasting it.

I don't think I've ever found any "weird" Pok?merch IRL (other than a few deformed Pikachu dolls and spoof cards), but I've still got some of my Welch's Pok?mon jelly jars. I used to have the full set but half or more of them broke over the years (including my favorite, Meowth). T_T

I also used to have a Clefairy calculator and remember seeing a Bulbasaur pencil sharpener.

I used to loooove the Pokemon pasta. It was just the canned stuff like alphabits or whatever, but Pokemon shaped. I was so sad when they stopped selling it. :( Similarly, the Pokemon cereal way back when was godawful too but all my friends got our parents to buy it when we had sleepovers.

For more recent things, there's Pokemon everything in Japan. They sell Pokemon surgical masks there, since it's common to wear them when you're sick so you don't infect others. (Or so you don't get infected yourself.) And although it's not necessarily merch... recently they've made one of those land/water buses in Pikachu form as part of a science centre collaboration.
